This position is located 30 miles southwest of Farmington, New Mexico on the Navajo Indian Reservation. The mine produces approximately 5 million tons of coal per year and is the sole supplier of coal to the Four Corners Power Plant.

Reports to: Production Supervisor Department: Overburden Removal
Position Summary:
The Dragline Grounds Person will assist with daily operations, coordinate safely with the dragline operator and oiler, and ensure all surrounding equipment and support systems (cables, cable trees, junction boxes, etc.) are correctly handled and maintained. This role requires high situational awareness, excellent communication skills, and the ability to adapt to changing working conditions around the dragline, including high walls, spoil slopes, sloughs, and high-voltage environments.
