Summary of Position:
The Drill Mechanic requires a strong background and mechanical knowledge of trouble shooting, repairing, component rebuilding and maintaining drills.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
Qualifications:
Frequent use of hands for fine motor tasks such as fingering, handling, or feeling is required, along with reaching with hands and arms. Occasionally, a static hand grip of 33 pounds of force is needed, and rarely at an elevated level. The position occasionally requires sitting with frequent forward bending and rare rotation. Walking, shoveling, and standing with forward bending are frequently necessary. Specific vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Working Environment:The employee will work in various site environments on rotating shifts with variable hours. The role involves outdoor work in all weather conditions, as well as work within a plant or shop environment and inside the cab of equipment or vehicles.
